Black Lagoon (ブラック ラグーン, Burakku Ragūn?) Is a manga written and illustrated by Rei Hiroe, and published in Shogakukan Sunday GX since 2002. An animated television series based on the manga aired in Japan since April 8, 2006 until June 24, 2006, a total of twelve episodes. The second season, subtitled "The Second Barrage", ran for twelve weeks beginning on October 2, 2006. A third season was announced on the cover of the first volume of adaptation novel. [2]The English version of manga is distributed by Viz Media, and the first volume was released on August 12, 2008. On July 3, 2008, Geneon Entertainment and FUNimation Entertainment announced an agreement to distribute select titles in North America. While Geneon Entertainment still will retain the license, FUNimation Entertainment will assume exclusive rights, marketing, manufacturing, sales and distribution of titles to choose from. Black Lagoon is one of several titles involved in the deal [3] In the Anime Expo 2010., FUNimation announced that they have licensed Roberta's Blood Trail and will be released in 2011. [4]

GrooveThe story follows a team of pirates / mercenaries known as Lagoon Company, who smuggle goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia in the early 1990s [5] base their operation is located in the fictional city Roanapur in Thailand, and they. transportation of goods in (24 m) 80 foot Elco boat-type PT Black Lagoon. Black Lagoon features a wide cast of characters, many of those involved in criminal affairs down and in and around Roanapur.

    * Rock is the main character of the series. He is a Japanese salaryman who joined the Black Lagoon crew after they kidnapped her. Rock not war, but is an excellent negotiator and translator, and apparently not accounting for the Black Lagoon Company. He is often scared by Revy method sometimes used to achieve his goal.
    * Revy is the female protagonist series. He gives muscle to the Lagoon Company. He is of Chinese descent and grew up in New York City. Revy is very skilled with using firearms in battle, but not many people. He enjoys killing enemies and seldom stops to negotiate. Despite the indifference of his usual, his tendency to enjoy taking other people's lives is the result of internal emotional instability, as evidenced by her interaction is more contrary to the Rock. His signature weapon is a clip from stainless steel custom-made 9 mm Beretta M92 "Sword Cutlass Special" gun. his nickname "Two Hands" reflects the ability to use both guns at the same time.
    * The Netherlands is the leader of "trading company" Lagoon. He was captain of the boat PT Black Lagoon, and coordinates his crew. Although he rarely participated in the battle, he still a lethal enemy, comes from his time as a soldier in the Vietnam War.
    * Benny is a former graduate student at the University of Central Florida. He is of Jewish origin and serves as a technical expert Lagoon it.
